Today Citroen unveiled the facelifted 2024 e-Berlingo, which will be offered in Europe in an electric version only. It has a new dashboard with a 10-inch touchscreen and support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new 10-inch color digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheel, as well as new colors and materials inside.
The car's motor develops 100 kW (136 bhp) and its range has increased 20% to 199 miles in the WLTP combined cycle, thanks to a new 50 kWh (usable capacity) LFP battery, which takes 7.5 hours to charge on a 7.4 kW wallbox, or 5 hours with an optional 11 kW three-phase charger. Speaking of charging, the new e-Berlingo supports 100kW DC fast charging and goes from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes while using such a charger.
The e-Berlingo is going to be offered as a 7-seater too - that will be the XL version, measuring 187 inches in length, as opposed to the M version which is 173.2 inches long.
With the front passenger seat folded down, you get a completely flat floor with a load length of 106.3 inches for the M version and 120.1 inches for the XL version. The load space is a minimum of 27.4 ft³ for the M version with all seats used, to a whopping 141 ft³ if you fold all the seats in the XL version.
For the first time, and exclusively in its segment, the e-Berlingo has Citroen Advanced Comfort seats. These have "high-quality foam" in them for a high level of comfort. The rear window opens independently of the tailgate, to allow for quick loading and unloading of small items.
The front of the car has been completely redesigned, featuring Citroen's new logo. It will be available in Europe in spring 2024 in five body colors: Kiama Blue, Sirkka Green, Kaolin White, Perla Nera Black, and Steel Grey.
