Anonymous, 28 Nov 2022Translation: Our spy’s were not able to steal as much from Tesla as we had hoped. Tesla gets a lot of free hype online, but when it comes to autonomy they are cheaping out on their sensors and others are using safer, and *cough* more expensive, options.
Obviously using the same software would be pointless, and honestly who would steal from Tesla when it comes to autonomy?
They can't even get the very simple, low speed parking right anymore. Which is funny because older "autopilot" software did manage, but not the Faux Self Driving one.
Sad to hear about this delay, but at least they have identified the issue and will work on adressing it.
I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.
Makes me chuckle when things like comma.ai are generally better and more stable than throwing millions at own solutions and starting from a scratch.
I'm guessing that those proximity sensors of theirs are working on their cars about as well as they are on their phones. (c;
