Meanwhile, Germany Gov still heads the world in support for it's car industry, as it has done for many decades, far more than any other country, try Googling some facts before posting next time, thanks.
PS: Australia some 10 years ago, stopped all support of it's car industry, 3 manufacturers closed up and 55,000 jobs lost, so who's the smart Govs who do support their car industry then eh?

What ever ha... moreYes true tariffs are bad for business generally but, don't think that on the other side China is not heavily subsidising BYD to be this cheap and this competitive. Today robots build cars for the most part humans are barely needed especially with low tech electric vehicles.
