If you aren't logged in to twitter, you can't see comments, so if the post is part of a thread you can't see the rest of it. You also can't see the newest post in someone's profile.
Sometimes the post itself doesn't load for some reason, or the whole site is having issues like the time it DDoS'd itself.

Reality doesn't care about your feelings snowflake.
