Most of the products are outdated, and whatever their targets of going all electric by 2025 are all hollow. No identity, no comfort, no service, no road presence, and their outlook for survival seems bleak. Are not able to compete with even KIA and other Korean brands, in terms of comfort, handling, interior space and most importantly, reliability. No matter what new nomenclatures they use to call the same outdated product as Mark II, Mark II, Mark III etc. or EX 40, ,50 , 60 etc for the same product in new avtar, our Indian public is not fools.
I like Volvo, it's an important brand for be. Been driving them for years. But I am somewhat sad about the direction the brand known for safety, durability and practicality is going. Sure, the safety is still there but other than that they have abandoned their core values and identity. Luckily there are plenty of older Volvos still on the road for years to come.
