We have owned an Ioniq 5 Ltd AWD, glass roof in black since January 2022. It is a brilliant car, however your Initium hydrogen fuel cell SUV concept looks to be the next step forwards.
Our interest lies in an environmentally sympathetic vehicle which is fun and a step forward. We were becoming interested in trading up to an Ioniq 5 N, however the changeover cost is far too much. Our Ioniq 5 has done under 30000km and is immaculate. However the trade dealer approximation is too much for what we’d get.
Any information which becomes available is of real interest as we are quite risk ready regarding refuelling and accept the performance is likely more modest than our Ioniq and more so compared to the 5N.
We did own a new Hyundai Terracan powered by a Mitsubishi petrol engine which developed a significant issue covered by warranty. The Hyundai bits were fine.
So we will follow with interest to see how the “Beginning” develops and knowing Hyundai it will be great.

Two decade too late! If toyota mass produced in 2004-05, they could have bought tesla in 2010s for their motors . But fossil fuel rabbit allowed lithium battery tortoise to win. Now fuel cell is the blockbuster to lithium battery netflix.
I hope they release a BEV version of this as well, I really like the design of this car.
