you probably should be more concerned about prices of your future car in 5 years.
right now, western companies make bank/rolling in cash from the china market - check investor info.
when that dries up, from who do you think those companies will leech from.

I'm not saying these cars will bad or anything, but when a new company starts building cars, I'd probably wait a while to see what the long term reliability is from the manufacturer. I probably wouldn't buy anything until they've been out on the market for at least five years. Again, not saying they'll have any issues but when you make a large investment in a vehicle, you want a decent track record to go buy.
