Yes, because the naming was the problem for Toyota. Not the fact that their offerings are mediocre at best. In a few years they might catch up, unless they continue on their agenda of "how bad EVs are", and "hydrogen so much better" or "hybrids are the answer to everything in this life"

Name not important. Will the EV fit 5 full size tall people comfortably (non-Euro-bs)? Will the EV offer leading performance (3s, 300mi) on the base model and better on the base Lexus model (2s, 400mi)? Will SuperCharging reach a native J3400 without adapters or blocking chargers? Will there be a spare tire in that supposed SUV? Will it qualify for easy stacking of local incentives? Will dealers, you know? If it does not underprice a MYP of the same model year, keep the forgettable names...
