Xiaomi has unveiled its latest innovation in the electric vehicle space: a cutting-edge intelligent chassis packed with advanced technology. It comes with active suspension and a quad-motor system with a staggering 2,054 horsepower, a 48V electromechanical braking system, and a 48V steer-by-wire steering system.
Three years of dedicated research and development went into this sophisticated chassis where advanced control algorithms are combined with the latest hardware from Bosch. The active suspension system is designed to enhance comfort and improve control. Each corner of the new chassis gets its own 4.6 kW power source, allowing for real-time damping adjustments. This reduces body roll during turns, acceleration, and braking.
The quad-motor setup takes performance to an entirely new level. Two new motors join two existing V8s motors and deliver a combined maximum output of 2,054 horsepower. This incredible power promises exhilarating acceleration and responsiveness. And it suggests there will be an Xiaomi car even faster than SU7 Ultra one day.
The incorporation of a 48V power structure, pioneered by Tesla in Cybertruck, enables line-controlled braking and steering. Traditional hydraulic and mechanical linkages are replaced with software-driven controls. Thanks to that solution, Xiaomi achieved adaptive steering ratios and braking force. This enables the vehicle to respond with greater precision to varying driving conditions.
The new chassis technology also contributes to energy efficiency by reducing braking temperatures and increasing vehicle range, and it seamlessly integrates with Xiaomi's ecosystem, connecting vehicles to many smart devices.
Xiaomi's intelligent chassis is a significant leap forward in EV technology. Xiaomi is making advanced automotive innovations more accessible to a wider audience by continuously pushing the boundaries of intelligent driving, smart cockpits, and electronic architecture.
Last but not least, If your hard working citizen ever decide to visit Cybertron or Krypton you would be most welcome, always.
