Kia's upcoming EV4 will be making its debut soon, and it's already attracting a lot of attention. The electric hatchback was recently spotted tearing up the Nurburgring racetrack, proving that it's more than just a good-looking city car.
The EV4 is Kia's latest entry-level EV, and it's expected to be priced between $39,000 and $52,000, depending on the chosen trim and options. It's designed to be a more affordable option than the company's other EVs, such as the EV6.
It is very likely the EV4 will share its powertrain with the EV3 rather than with the larger EV6. That means a single electric motor powering front wheels with a 150 kW output. We can expect to see the same choice of batteries as well - so a smaller 58.3 kWh battery pack will be joined by the larger 81.4 kWh battery. Since the EV4 is more aerodynamically friendly, it should have a better range - we expect to see a 350 miles or higher WLTP rating.
The EV4 is expected to be available in late 2024 or early 2025. It will be sold in North America, Europe, and Asia.
The Kia EV4 is an interesting new addition to the growing market of electric cars. It's promising to be affordable and stylish. It has a chance to be a popular choice for drivers who are looking for an eco-friendly car that's also fun to drive. But its success in the US will depend a lot on the EV tax credit situation. Kia has already delayed the launch of the EV4 due to the uncertain future of the US market rules.
This Kia looks so cool and very futuristic design. Also, this platform needs Station Wagon Model...
