Tesla brings improved range calculation through firmware update

Tesla is seeding a new software update (2022.16.0.2) to its fleet of cars that brings a few key improvements. The main one is a better navigation energy prediction, which will take into account forecasted crosswind, headwind, humidity, and ambient temperature to give you a more accurate range prediction.

The firmware also brings support for multiple media accounts. This means that you can have multiple Spotify accounts, each linked to a specific driver profile.

Another feature allows the car to use the regular brakes to decelerate the car when regenerative braking is limited due to battery level or temperature.
