As Tesla's factory in Shanghai is picking up steam, the company has again cut the delivery wait times for its Model 3 and Model Y cars. Those are the only two models Tesla is making in China as of now.
The expected delivery cycle of the entry-level Model 3 was previously 6-10 weeks and now it's 1-8 weeks while the dual-motor Performance trim is expected to arrive within a 1-10 week window instead of 6-10. The rear-wheel Model Y wait time, on the other hand is just 1-4 weeks. The Long Range version, is now expected to arrive within 1-10 instead of 10-14 weeks. The same goes for the Model Y Performance.
Pricing remains unchanged as the Model 3 starts at CNY 279,000 ($39,000) while the Model Y starts at CNY 316,900 ($45.000).
