After announcing the new facelift version of its coupe SUV, the EC6, Nio is about to release the vehicle to the streets. The latest set of photos suggests that the official launch is just around the corner as the photographed EC6 has ditched the camouflage wrap and even has official license plates.
Featuring cleaner and more streamlined design, the facelifted EC6 runs on Nio's new NT 2.0 platform. In fact, this is the last vehicle that was due for an update and the entire Nio range is NT 2.0-based. The updated EC6 will likely officially launch during this month's Chengdu auto show in China.
Compared to the older model from 2020, the new EC6 is the same in length, but wider and with a wider wheelbase. As far as pricing goes, the EC6 is supposed to start at around RMB 396,000 ($59,200) for the standard Sport trim, although pricing may have changed. We will know for sure once the model officially hits the market.
