With an array of awards under its belt, including the 2023 European Car of the Year , the Jeep Avenger MY24 is now available for purchase. The company has improved the equipment levels as well as the price.
The new Jeep Avenger MY24 boasts a range of up to 373 miles, but that's on the WLTP city cycle, which is rather unrealistic. Still the number represents a 31 miles improvement over the 2023 model.
The Avenger MY24 offers Open-Air Sky Roof as well as powered driver seat with massage function and leather to enhance driving experience.
Jeep retains the three different powertrains for the Avenger MY24. In addition to the 100% electric version, there's an e-Hybrid variant and even an internal combustion engine option. Although the company wants us to see it as a commitment to offering customers the choice, in reality, it’s simply because Jeep, along with many other legacy manufacturers, is still painfully stuck in the ICE age.
The Avenger MY24 offers three trim levels to suit different preferences:
Jeep has streamlined the Avenger MY24's lineup and the electric model got a price reduction of up to $2,200 compared to MY23.
But is it enough? The summit trim is still matching the Tesla Model 3 in price and that is a considerably better vehicle - more room, more range and way better performance.
There’s no doubt the Jeep Avenger MY24 is a great vehicle - our review confirmed as much. It has a good chance to make its mark in the world of small, city-bound electric vehicles. And with over 40,000 orders already placed, it's clear that this vehicle is capturing the hearts of European drivers.
Claimed range of 600 km on the Jeep is highly unrealistic and misleading. Real-world driving conditions will surely result in a much lower range
