Ford just teased three new EV models coming by 2024. One of them is the EV version of Ford Puma while the other two are a medium-sized crossover and a sport crossover. The company didn't go into much detail but there are a few interesting takeaways from the short blog post on the official European branch of its website.
The first car to see daylight is the mid-sized crossover going on sale next year while its actual announcement is due for the end of 2022. Ford's Cologne factory in Germany will be making the vehicle that will offer a range of about 500 km on a single charge.
The sport crossover will come out of the same factory, but it will be coming a year later in 2024.
As far as the Puma is concerned, it's going live in 2024 as well and will be built in the company's Craiova factory in Romania.
In addition to its consumer EVs, the company will be delivering the EV versions of the Transit Courier, Tourneo Courier, Transit Custom, Tourneo Custom and the E-Transit to Europe, again by 2024. Ford's battery assembly facility should be operational by 2024 as well.
