General Motors' joint venture with Wuling Automobile, a Chinese automaker has produced a new cute, city car called Cabrio. As the name implies, it's a convertible and we've been hearing about this model for some time now.
The bad news is that the EV is entering small-scale production - between 100 and 200 units per month. As a result, you'll need to win a lottery to be able to purchase one with the lucky ones announced later this month. This will also be a good way for the company to gauge the demand and ramp up production accordingly.
Pricing is yet unknown but it's expected to be between CNY 100,000 and 200,000 ($14,500 and $30,000). It sure is a big range, but that's probably accounting for all tiers.
Isn't this effectively the same as the wuling hongguang which is roughly £3.6k
