The Leapmotor B10 was sort of introduced at the Paris Motor Show in October. We say "sort of", because all we saw were some renders showing the outside of the car, and nothing for the inside.
That changes today, but not thanks to Leapmotor itself. Some enterprising souls over in China spotted a camouflaged B10 prototype and shot a couple of pictures of its interior, which you can see below.
Obviously this was a test vehicle so there's a lot of testing equipment throughout, but we can still make out some important details, like the flat-bottomed steering wheel with scroll wheel controls, a small instrument panel screen behind it, a big "floating" effect centrally mounted infotainment screen, twin wireless phone chargers floating on the center console, a storage tray right underneath, some air vents for the back seats, and a tray of some sort at the bottom of the center console in the rear, which could be a storage tray or a mini fridge.
The Leapmotor B10 is 177.8 inches long, 74.2 inches wide, 65.2 inches tall, and has a wheelbase of 107.7 inches. All versions use 18" wheels and curb weights start at 3,682 lb and go up to 3,759 lb.
There will apparently be two drivetrains - the entry level one has a 132 kW motor which enables a top speed of 99 mph, while the upgraded version has a 160 kW motor that enables a top speed of 106 mph. The top-spec models will come with LiDAR and a bunch of other sensors and cameras.
The Leapmotor B10 should finally launch in China in the first few months of 2025, and then make it to Europe soon after that, where it will be sold through Stellantis' network. The B10 cars for the European market may be produced at Stellantis' plant in Poland, where the Leapmotor T03 is already being made.
