Hozon Auto's Neta brand just introduced its latest offering: the Neta S wagon. Officially dubbed the "Neta S Hunting Edition," it adds to the busy EV landscape in the world's largest market for these vehicles.
Coming with shooting brake design, the Neta S wagon has a closed front face, hidden door handles, and panoramic heat-insulating roof. The glass roof features 99.9% UV isolation, and it reflects 87.5% of heat, helping with a comfortable cabin environment even under the scorching sun.
The Neta S Wagon measures 196.1 inches in length, 78 inches in width, and 58.3 inches in height, it offers ample space. The generous 117.3 inches wheelbase translates to a spacious interior, while the 20.9 ft³ dual-level trunk can be expanded to a cavernous 45.7 ft³ with the rear seats folded down.
The Neta S Wagon offers two powertrain options: pure electric and range-extender (EREV). The EREV variant features a 1.5 l gasoline-powered engine with a maximum power of 70 kW (94 hp) and an electric motor that churns out 200 kW (268 hp). Buyers can choose between two battery capacities: 31.71 kWh or 43.88 kWh, offering pure electric ranges of 81 miles and 115 miles, respectively.
The pure electric variant comes in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations, with a 200 kW electric motor for the former and a combination of 170 kW front and 200 kW rear electric motors for the latter. While the range for the pure electric variant has yet to be revealed, we do know that the top speed for all versions is limited to 115 mph.
Inside the Neta S wagon you'll find a 17.6-inch central control screen, front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and even an onboard refrigerator.
Pricing details have yet to be announced - that should happen at the official launch later in August, with deliveries slated to begin in September.
