Lancia first teased its upcoming Ypsilon EV a couple of weeks ago, revealing some details regarding the interior. Today, the company shared a teaser image of the front fascia.
The image shows three LED strips under the Lancia lettering on the hood, representing the iconic Lancia chalice. The brand says it's a nice blend between the modern EV looks and the company's tradition in car manufacturing.
Additionally, the press release says this frontal design will be the staple for all three upcoming EVs in the coming years, not just the Ypsilon. And from what we could gather from the press release, the LED strips will serve as daylight running lights.
The Ypsilon model will be revealed in February 2024 in Milan, Italy. We will get to see the Cassina Limited Edition variant, which will be produced in limited quantities - just 1906 units, representing the birth year of Lancia as a company. However, Lancia promised to reveal more details in the coming weeks, perhaps not just about the limited edition model.
