How British is Lotus at the moment? I mean, is there any kind of activity left in Britain? Administration? R&D ?

This is one fine car, although the ground clearance is not the best, but ok for a supercar.

What scares me about electric vehicles in general, is lithium ion and possibility of an explosion on severe accidental damage.
Its one thing to crash and sustain damages and live to tell the tale, and its totally another to literally sit on a bomb.

I might come across as a pessmist but currently I own a KTM Duke 390, which for my city is a reasonably fast bike, capable of 100 miles/hr.
I'm looking at EV's that launch, but with general fear and the water logged roads in the monsoons, I'm not sure at all.
