The Polestar Phone has been a long time coming, but now it's finally almost here. The device will be unveiled on April 23 in China, which is the primary intended market for it. Since Chinese automotive giant Geely owns both Polestar and the smartphone maker Meizu, we're assuming that the Polestar Phone will be made by Meizu and, considering what it looks like, it will most likely be based on the Meizu 20 Pro or Meizu 20 Infinity, both models released last year.

The Polestar Phone has already been spotted in the Google Play Console in February, and was certified for sale in China last month - both necessary steps before its launch.
With the Polestar Phone, Polestar is following in the footsteps of Nio, which launched its very own smartphone last year. For both, the key selling point is, of course, very rich integration with the respective brand's cars. The point is to make jumping from using your smartphone to using your car as seamless as possible.
Polestar Phone official teaser imageThe teaser Polestar posted on Weibo reveals that the Polestar Phone will have a screen with 21:9 aspect ratio and "2K+" resolution, 2.2mm thin symmetrical bezels all over, and a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. As this is 2024, AI will be involved in some way, and the phone will be 74mm wide.
