BYD's luxury sub-brand YangWang announced its U8 SUV in January, but we are yet to see its design in full. The huge SUV was featured in a tire blowout test, which the vehicle aced thanks to its new safety systems. Now someone spotted the YangWang U8 in real-life without the camouflage on, giving us our best look yet.
The chassis seems to be in line with the recent design trends in China as it adopts a boxy overall shape, fenders and tail lights. The tail lights come with smoked light visors. And the door handles are of the pop-out kind.
There's also one in black, which looks like camo at first, but it could be a matte black paint job. The LiDAR and camera system can be seen placed on top of the windshield along with the side view cameras. China still hasn't passed a law to allow side view cameras, but it's expected to do so in July this year.
