At the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show, Toyota introduced its new bZ Compact SUV Concept, which gives us another sneak peek into the future of the Beyond Zero BEV lineup. The overall design language is retained, but Toyota made the concept a bit more aggressive-looking.
The vehicle is built of sustainable materials and aims for a minimalist design - inside and outside. After all, it has to fit the Beyond Zero narrative.
The wheels are pushed to the side to achieve a more aggressive stance while the cabin is narrower than the body, improving aerodynamics. The sharp appearance of the exterior matches the boxy design of the interior.
The seats are made of plant-based and recycled materials and a smart in-cabin assistant can take voice commands from the front and back passengers. Audio and visual cues that move around the cabin make the interactive experience more immersive.
